A computer for your coding agent
Shed is being built as a virtual machine for coding agents and developers.
Shed is in development. Join the waitlist for access.
What comes with the computer
The machine is the work environment. Shed is not an app deployment service.
- Virtual machine
- A computer is the unit you create and work in.
- Coding agent
- The intended machine starts with an agent already running inside it.
- Domain and HTTPS
- Each machine is intended to have an address with HTTPS.
- SSH
- The same machine is intended to be reachable over SSH.
Make a machine that fits the work
Shed is being built so a machine can be created for a specific need, then reused or safely changed.
Build from a prompt
Describe what you need, and Shed is being built to return a machine running it.
Save a template
Turn a machine that is set up the way you want into a starting point for more.
Fork a machine
Make a copy of a running machine with its filesystem intact, for a safe change or a separate line of work.
Group machines
Bring several machines together so a system of parts can be treated as one unit.
Access belongs to people
Machines are intended to be private by default. Shed is being built to share access by naming a person, who signs in as themselves; the URL alone is not meant to grant access.
Pricing follows compute use
A flat monthly plan is spent on your machines, any size, at one list price per vCPU with its memory and disk. Past it, you pay the same price.
